Buying a TV at Electroplanet: What Actually Matters

Television specs are designed to confuse. Three of them decide whether you will be happy in two years.

1. Panel type

For a bright Moroccan living room, panel brightness and anti-glare matter far more than resolution. An 8K TV in a sunlit room still looks washed out.

2. Refresh rate

If you watch football or play console games, 120 Hz is worth the premium. For films and series, 60 Hz is fine.

3. Size versus viewing distance

Roughly, a 55-inch set suits about 2 to 2.5 metres of distance. Buying larger than your room allows is the most common regret.

What to ignore

Contrast ratios quoted in millions, brand-specific processing names, and 8K at any price point currently sold in Morocco.
